It seems that nowadays that every time a celebrity gets interviewed by a media outlet they always have to ask them about Donald Trump as if that has ANYTHING to do with ANYTHING. William Shatner is one of the most iconic actors out there. He is well-known for his role in Star Trek as Captain James T. Kirk. Now, we can recognize him as one of the people who challenged mainstream media bullies.
Shatner had an interview with The Daily Beast that was intentionally trying to provoke him into denouncing President Trump. Shatner managed to slay them with this line, “Listen, I’m Canadian, and I’m apolitical. I love America. I consider myself a guest here.” Boom.
Before this conversation occurred, the former Star Trek star was asked if he had anything to do with the letter calling for Trump’s impeachment that the Trek Against Trump page posted to Facebook last year, reports Breitbart. Shatner denied signing the letter and responded, “I didn’t do that. I would never have done that.”
If we learned anything at all from reading this interview, it is that the Left is RELENTLESS in trying to get people to talk badly about our president. It is almost like they have some sort of sick fetish for calling him a bigot. Liberals will go out of their way to try and bully people into not liking Trump, and it is PATHETIC.
During Shatner’s interview, he had to directly tell them that he did not want to talk about President Trump. How sad is it that if you are doing an interview, you have to have to tell them to stop because they are overbearing!
If someone ends up in the seat being interviewed that hates Trump, they will ride that conversation all the way to the end. It is like once the topic comes up, they forget everything else around them and just start a slanderous assault.
The Left ignores more than just things around them in the physical world; their mental skills cease to exist as well, if they were even there from the start. Logic, reason, rational thinking, all of it goes out the Liberal’s ear and into space.
Shatner later mentioned in the interview that he has contacted liberal J.J. Abrams and asked if he could star in another Star Trek film. Up until this point, he has ended up with the cold shoulder. We cannot help but wonder if this has political ties. Maybe if he had signed that petition, he could have ended up on another movie. Interesting.
